Asana lab (part two)

Even though it is a part two, you are welcome to join if you did not make it to the part one! We will just explore different poses this time. And, you have to opportunity to join the part one again in May. ;)

Finally it’s here - a real deal asana lab.

Is there a pose or two in which you’ve been wondering how to approach or align yourself, but never had the chance to take a close look at it with an experienced yoga teacher? Or are you seeking for a solid foundation for your asana practice to deepen your journey of yoga?

In this workshop we'll go through 10 asanas with a playful approach to the poses and learning the key elements of proper alignment. The workshop includes a short Heartful Flow practice as well as a sweet and grounding relaxation. There will also be time for questions and proper hands on adjustments.

Matilda Mannström is a certified senior yoga teacher, who was introduced to yoga in her early teens in 2007. With more than 10 years of teaching experience she is training future instructors and teaching weekly classes such as Hatha, Yin, Heartful Flow, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. On her journey, she has met wonderful teachers world wide and is currently studying with Yogarupa Rod Stryker.

feedback from previous asana lab in February

" During the lab I enjoyed all the alignment and activation practices, especially for my downward facing dog I expanded my range of motion through focusing on my back line and points of contact with the ground. So thankful and already awaiting the upcoming lab." -Julian

“I loved this session. Matilda is a great teacher and I l really appreciate how she showed us examples and really took time to explain all Asanas in detail. It was exactly what I needed to get both validation to my own technique and to get tips on how to do better.” - Mirella

“Sagayoga in its prime, and here I thought that downward facing dog is a no brainer at this point but apparently there’s always opportunity to improve 🥰.  6/5 higly recommend!” - Juhani

“Vihdoin oli aika ja paikka kysellä pitkään mietityttäneitä asioita linjaukseen ja harjoitukseen muutenkin liittyen. Ilmapiiri oli sellainen, että uskalsi kysyä, ja tuntui, että muillekkin oli hyötyä vastauksista. Erityisen opettavaista oli, kuin sai myös ihan vain istua ja katsoa, kun Matilda rauhassa näytti ensin mitä tehdään ja kuinka lähestyä asentoja turvallisesti”. - Petra

“Now I know how to plank. After 15 years of daily (and passionate!) practice, I was surprised to learn so much about the most common postures”. - Saga
